This year we (with permission and authority of the Lute Olson family) established the Lute Olson Legacy Classic whose inaugural edition will be on Sunday October 30th at McBride HS (Long Beach CA). McBride HS is located at 7025 Parkcrest Street, Long Beach, CA 90808. Parking is Free.

This event honors the great legacy of the late Lute Olson whose Hall of Fame coaching career spanned stints served at Loara HS/Anaheim CA, Marina HS/Huntington Beach CA, Long Beach City College, Long Beach State, Iowa and Arizona. This event which will include a special program honoring Lute Olson, will be expanded in 2023-24 into a regular season HS event in either Southern California or Tucson AZ.
