Joe Harden           6’6”      St. Mary's HS (Stockton CA)

Sharp-shooting wing played for EBO-EA Sports last summer.  High-major role player has excellent intangibles.   Teams looking at him include USC, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Stanford, and Oregon State.   2005 Pangos All-American Camp Top 25 selection.

 

Decensae White    6’7”      Serra HS (San Mateo CA)

Very versatile wing originally committed to Loyola Marymount but re-opened his recruitment last fall.  Recently, gave Texas Tech a verbal and will play in the Big 12.   Played well at the 2005 Fullcourt Press All-West Camp (selected to the Top 60 game there).

 

Terrance Jennings      6’10”    Elk Grove HS (Elk Grove CA)
Jennings is a Devon Harden-type talent. Very athletic big who is very active around the basket. Had to sit out this season,due to transfer.  If he goes to prep school, could be an intriguing prospect.

 

Justin Joyner               6’0”      De La Salle HS (Concord CA)
Quality floor-leader runs the show for nationally ranked De La Salle.   Joyner has high-major potential with very solid handle, aggressive defense and excellent quickness.

 

Bennie Rhodes              6’6”      Castlemont HS (Oakland CA)
Very athletic wing is just now starting to make some noise this season.  Effective slashing scorer has nice potential to be a fine swingman.   Played very well at the 2005 Fullcourt Press All-West Camp (selected to the Top 60 game there). 

Jamelle Barrett.             5’9”      Foothill HS (Sacramento CA)
Ultra-quick jet can make plays and  is a competitor that steps up to challenges.   Went to war in an impressive performance versus elite 2008 point Brandon Jennings at the 2005 Fullcourt Press All-West Camp (made Top 30 game there).    Likely headed to prep school to improve academics.

Brandon Adams             6’6”      San Ramon Valley HS (Danville CA)
Very good and active wing player that runs the floor, dunks in traffic and makes things happen.

 

Eugene Crockett            6’9”      Sacramento HS (Sacramento CA

Back in California after moving back from Beaumont, Texas due to hurricane damage.  Has struggled with his consistency, but is a very strong player who will get a long look due to his enormous size.   Crockett was impressive in a recent Sac High win against Modesto Christian (24 points and 18 rebounds).

 

Royal Edwards              6’7”      Capital Christian HS (Sacramento CA)
Very athletic wing with a 40-inch vertical leap.  Can jump out the gym and make plays in transition. Very versatile player - he also plays PG for his high school team. Could be a steal late for a college in need of a good athlete.

 

Jordan Lawley             6’4”      Tokay (Lodi CA)

Slashing scorer and good defender made the Top 60 game at 2005 Fullcourt Press All-West Camp.

Ben Washington          6’0”      Newark Memorial (Newark CA)

Very good combo-guard that shoots an accurate jump shot.  Excellent athlete and defender. 

 

Darius Foster               6’3”      De Anza HS (Richmond CA)
A big-time athlete with a 40-inch vertical leap.  Off-guard also has a respectable jump shot. Foster has been working on his ball skills recently which will help make him a better all-around player.  

 

Darius Logan              5’10”    Sacramento HS (Sacramento CA)

Great “on the ball” defender has been hurt for most of the year.   Very solid ballhandler and nifty passer.

 

Adam Chavis               6-4        Castlemont HS (Oakland CA)
Tough kid who competes hard.   Solid rebounder has knack for making plays.  Shooting guard has been compared to Wesley Washington (Oregon State).  

Jerry Jackson              6’0”      Laguna Creek HS (Elk Grove CA)

Explosive guard just moved to Sacramento area from Vallejo. Athletic lead guard attacks the basket and can finish in transition.

 

Jason Grisby                6’8”      Bishop O'Dowd HS (Oakland CA)
Inconsistent power forward has size buts needs more consistent effort.

 

Matt Cousins                6’8”      Cardinal Newman HS (Santa Rosa CA)

Skilled big man can shoot rock.   Needs time to develop post skills.

 

Ryan Parker                6’8”      Center HS (Sacramento CA)
A wide body that is a solid rebounder and defender. 

  

Levar Neuvelle,           6’3”      Fairfield HS (Fairfield CA)
Big and strong lead guard can make things happen.   Needs to get just a little more athletic, but has size and knows how use it.

 

Mac Petersen              6’2”      Deer Valley HS (Antioch CA)

Underrated athlete competes well and is an able defender.

 

Antonio Flaggs           6’3”      Mt. Diablo HS (Concord CA)

Scoring guard makes plays, has nice size and is also a very good defender.

 

Isaiah Sandoval         6’5”      International Studies Academy (San Francisco CA)

Francisco Garcia-type guard has nice range on jumper.    Needs to hit the weights to get stronger, but he knows how to play. 

 

Charles Jim George   6’4”      San Leandro HS (San Leandro CA

Strong guard defends well and is a very good three point shooter who has been working on taking defenders off the dribble more.

 

Steve Brown              6’6”      Palo Alto HS (Palo Alto CA)

Tall wing shoots it well.  Needs to improve strength.

 

Jerrelle Wilson          6’2”      Sacred Heart Cathedral (San Francisco CA)

Super-athletic guard needs to improve his ball skills.

 

Zach Tideman           6’0”      Montgomery HS (Santa Rosa CA)  

Heady point guard makes plays and knows how to run his team. 

 

Jeremy Linn              6’2”      Palo Alto HS (Palo Alto CA)

Very athletic and savvy point guard knows how to run an offense. Very good student is getting serious looks from Ivy League schools.

Jon McClanahan       6’6”      International Studies Academy (San Francisco CA)
Long and athletic forward has just started playing this game and needs more game experience.

 

Darnell Grier             6’4”      Jesse Bethel HS (Vallejo CA)

Exciting wing runs floor well and is an active rebounder.

 

Marcus Schroeder     6’1”      De La Salle HS (Concord CA)

Heady and fundamentally sound combo-guard excels within the De La Salle system.

 

Mike Caffesse            5’10”    Tokay HS (Lodi CA)

Very skilled ballhandler is an accurate passer and solid defender.

 

Terrence Worthy       5’10”    Valley Christian HS (San Jose CA)

Brother of Brandon Worthy (Loyola Marymount) is a savvy floor general.

 

David Liss                  6’0”      Branson HS (Ross CA)
Scrappy lead guard is tough and has solid handle.

Power forward is undersized but rebounds well.

Antonio Kellogg-type combo-guard is a formidable defender.

 Wing is an effective rebounder and a good finisher around basket.

Accurate shooter is a Bay-area sleeper.
